Final 2011 points and point standings are now posted! All points and placings have been verified! Top ten winners in every division, showmanship, and overall standings will receive special awards and recognition at the upcoming banquet on February 18th, 2012.

***BANQUET NEWS***

2011 members can still reserve their dinner tickets for the banquet by calling or emailing Heidi before February 13th. Only a very limited number of extra meal tickets will be available at the door. Be sure to RSVP NOW to save your spot!

The banquet will be in a different building this year at the mid-state fairgrounds!! Look for signs pointing the way to the building next to the sheep and goat ring – you will find us there!

With only a few short steps from the show-rings, you can stop in and checkout sale items, auction items, and preparations for the big night! We look forward to seeing you all there!!

Awards and Member Packets: All awards and member packets need to be picked up at the banquet. If for some reason you cannot attend, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to have someone pick up your items for you. These items need to be picked up on Saturday by the conclusion of the banquet. We must clean and vacate the hall early on Sunday morning so all items are packed up Saturday night. THE CJLA CANNOT AFFORD THE ADDITIONAL COST OF SHIPPING ITEMS TO MEMBERS FOLLOWING THE BANQUET. IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS SHIPPED, WE ARE ASKING FOR A MINIMAL PAYMENT OF $5.00 TO HELP PAY POSTAGE. Shipping fees can be mailed to CJLA and items will be mailed immediately after the banquet.

Sponsors, Donations, Raffle Tickets: We still need more donations for the award banquet. It takes a huge amount of money to cover all the expenses of the banquet and awards. Your help is needed with all areas of our fund-raising. Please go to the sponsor tab for more information or contact Heidi Beljean.

Auction Items: We are still looking for donations for our silent and live auctions. These are always enjoyed by those attending the banquet and bring in much-needed funds to the CJLA. If you have something you would like to donate, please bring it to the banquet room on Saturday, February 18th.

***2012 CJLA NEWS***

The 2012 CJLA show season is already off to a great start! Many of you have packed up and hit the road to the first shows of January and February. Some of you are old pros at the jackpot scene, for others, this is all new! I encourage every member and parent to take the time to read the CJLA Rules and if you have any questions, any time, to contact Mary Ann for an explanation. It is our goal to prevent any misunderstandings and confusion and to ensure the CJLA experience is a positive one. Your feedback and input is much appreciated!
