2015 has started off with a bang! Full speed ahead! The highways are burning up with trucks and trailers headed for CJLA Shows!
As many of you are fully involved in the 2015 show season, here at CJLA headquarters, we have literally just wrapped up 2014. The Award Banquet was held on February 14, 2015 in Paso Robles to honor the 2014 membership. If you couldn’t make it, you missed an evening of good food, fun, and awesome awards. A full feature section of all the nights activities will be in the May issue of the Pacific Showcase magazine so be sure to check that out.
We are truly appreciative to our many sponsors, supporters, and donors, who give so much to CJLA and who help us to realize our goals of rewarding the accomplishments of the CJLA members.
Speaking of Awards – if you did not get your awards at the banquet or have someone pick them up for you, we want to be sure you get them! We are asking for a $5.00 donation to help with postage so don’t delay – Send to CJLA PO Box 41430 San Jose, CA 95160 – along with your name and mailing address and tell us it is to ship your awards. Any questions – you can call Heidi at 408-888-2503 or send us an email message.
Be sure to check out the show list for all upcoming shows and their contact information. If you have questions, either call the show or contact us. Don’t miss out – we are here to help you!
The new 2015 Rule Book is now posted. Be sure to read it so you know the updates. Also read the 2015 Heifer Revision. If you have questions about this, CONTACT US for further explanation! The first set of 2015 Points will be posted mid-April. Be sure to check them out to confirm that your information is correct. Any questions – contact us! It is easier for us to check records, contact shows, or make corrections right away – instead of waiting until the end of the year!
We strongly recommend that you keep track of your show placings at each show. Then you can compare your records against the points we post and if there are discrepancies, you have a record to compare with our information. Information on how points are awarded and tabulated are in the Rule Book.
On a final note, the CJLA and its’ members are very fortunate to have so many people willing to host sanctioned shows. It takes a lot of people – usually volunteers – and a lot of hours – to put on one of these events. Remember – they are doing it for you! Be sure to show your appreciation and say “Thank You” to management and helpers.
Happy Showing – and stay safe in all your travels!
